Position: Senior Technical Systems Analyst (#131054E)

Location: Boston, MA

Job Duties
Conduct in-depth analysis of data trends using business intelligence and other reporting tools and develop workflows of the existing event and time based scheduling systems/legacy processes used in the organization that can be batch automated to improve performance goals. Analyze the SSIS packages and ETL loads used for running processes and applications and work with DevOps to upgrade the stored procedures and scripts to work cohesively with the new software/processes. Analyze emerging technologies and latest digital process automation tools to identify the right fit/path and migrate from the existing legacy systems and improve workflows and processes for optimal performance. Build the test strategy, test plans, test cases, and manage the test case development cycle for different phases of application testing, including Regression testing, SIT, UAT and Parallel testing cycles using latest test management tools. Design and develop e-learning modules and self-paced interactive training modules and software and hardware products and manage the end-to-end hosting of the modules on Learning Management Systems. Devise and develop plans, templates, Requirements documentation, Design documents, SOWs, Solution architecture documents, end-user training, current/ future state workflows; prototypes, mockups, wireframes and simulations depicting the proposed business flows, rules and processing sequences. Develop and deliver technical training to technical and business groups using latest e-learning trends in developing self-paced learning modules, podcasts, virtual demos, presentations, and use case animations. Design and develop the SharePoint Project Portfolio site, to create dashboards for project artifacts and manage collaboration. Lead the end-to-end implementation of large and medium scale migration and upgrade projects and ensure timelines and scope are met with expected quality. Partner with clients, vendors, senior management and the business teams to analyze high quality deliverables across all phases of a project for implementing new enterprise software solutions or upgrading existing solutions. Research complex technical software solutions/applications, related to Daily, and Monthly account closing and Reconciliation processes run within the Investment teams to upgrade and automate the existing batch processes to improve operational productivity and efficiency. Plan and continuously track project performance and mitigate risks to ensure the successful completion of short- and long-term goals. Work as a Scrum master and plan, monitor and report progress of Sprints to complete the backlog of tasks for a project. Host the Agile Ceremonies Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Review and Retrospective to follow the Agile scrum framework for implementing projects. Work with the infrastructure team to ensure that the hardware setup, OS requirements, Database setup and pre-requisite software/drivers/Access/Permissions are setup as per the build document to perform installation and initiate development, testing activities and final cutover. Prepare the Migration plan listing all the tasks for final implementation, along with resource and timeline assignment for successful software system implementation/upgrade. Host steering committee and Governance committee meetings with a team of business stakeholders, senior Product Directors, and VPs to prioritize projects/tasks, report status, mitigate any risks and resolve identified risks. Maintain the Risks/Actions/Incidents/Decisions/Issues log and change management process by closely tracking the project end-to-end life cycle to ensure that the application is implemented based on business roadmap and objectives, with optimal performance and quality; and compliance to audit requirements.

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience working in the Information Technology industry. Stated experience must include three (3) years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst; one (1) year of experience in developing technical training and documentation for Learning Management System implementations; and one (1) year of experience working on Agile transformation initiatives using different approaches such as Scrum or Kanban.
